A week in Concarneau: things to do! Spending a week at our campsite? Here are a few ideas for activities and outings for a relaxing, friendly stay. Welcome to Camping Les Sables Blancs!
To keep things simple when planning certain visits, we’ve assumed you arrive on a Saturday. Feel free to contact the Concarneau Tourist Office for any information on walks and cultural activities.

Weekly programme
SATURDAY: settle in on your pitch or in your rental. Explore the campsite, then enjoy a swim in the heated pool. A relaxing evening at the campsite: how about a pizza on the terrace while watching the sunset?
SUNDAY: La Forêt-Fouesnant market. A relaxing afternoon and sandcastles on the beach 150 m from the campsite. A family stroll around the Walled Town, or a guided tour with the Tourist Office, and an ice cream.
MONDAY: Concarneau by bike for two: market, Walled Town, harbour… Afternoon walk: the “Le Dorlett-Kérandon” hike (6.5 km) starts just behind the campsite, and can also be done on foot.
TUESDAY: visit the Marinarium or the Fishing Museum. Picnic at Pointe de Trévignon.
WEDNESDAY: a full-day kayaking trip: visit the Saint-Jean and Saint-Laurent coves, lunch at Port La Forêt, swim at Quatre Sardines beach. Entertainment night at the campsite.
THURSDAY: visit Quimper or a discovery day in the Glénan Islands. Mussels and fries night at the campsite.
FRIDAY: Concarneau market and a visit to a local business (a cannery: Gonidec or Courtin, or a brewery: Britt or Tri Matelod). Picnic at Pointe du Raz. A relaxing evening by the pool late into the night.
