La Forêt-Fouesnant

Located between Bénodet and Concarneau, just a few kilometers northwest of Les Sables Blancs campsite, this wooded village is a true haven of peace that will delight walkers and strollers since no less than 30 kilometers of marked trails allow for beautiful hikes in the surrounding nature. These routes are also popular with cyclists who can take the cycle route 5 that crosses the seaside resort.

This natural heritage can also be discovered during guided tours offered by the Forêt-Fouesnant Tourist Office. Visitors thus have the opportunity to go on a guided walk around the cove of La Forêt or around the old port to learn more about the production of shellfish and crustaceans, true local specialties.

With its marina, it is also the ideal place for a sea trip to the Glénan archipelago. The opportunity to admire the beauty of the place, its turquoise waters and white sand reminiscent of postcard landscapes of the Caribbean! This archipelago consists of 12 islands and islets that are sure to inspire dreams, however only the main island of Saint-Nicolas can be visited (the others belonging to the ornithological reserve of the archipelago or to the water sports center). For this, cruise operators offer you the opportunity to go for the day by sailboat, kayak or motorboat. There is only the embarrassment of choice to marvel and have a great time in this idyllic setting!
